MultiTransmitter has 18 wired zones for connecting devices and tamper supporting 4 types of contacts: NO, NC (without resistor), EOL (NC with resistor), EOL (NO with resistor). In addition to the 18 zones, the module has three 12 V power outputs: 2 main and 1 separate for fire detectors.
MultiTransmitter itself is powered by the 110/230V mains and, in the event of a power failure, it can house a backup battery in the housing, which will power the module and connected devices. The central unit and users are notified of any power problems in the Ajax app.
Also, in the app, you can define a room, a group, a device type (detector/printer) and an alarm type for each device. Thanks to this, users can see a clear notification text indicating what happened, when and where, instead of the zone number of the activated detector. And the security company receives a clear alarm code and responds according to protocol.
You can choose one of five alarm types:
- intrusion
- fire
- medical aid
- emergency button
- gas leakage.
The module is equipped with two tamper-resistant buttons, which respond to the opening of the tamper and the detachment of the housing from a wall: you will not be able to open MultiTransmitter without receiving notification. And the resistor resistance adjustment in the app allows the module to immediately notice failures, power failure or interruption of the signal cable of the connected detector.
MultiTransmitter will notify immediately if the connected devices have been compromised with power failure, signal cable disconnection or tampering. Loss of electricity at the site will not be a problem either: the battery backup can provide power to devices for up to 4 days. The MultiTransmitter housing itself has two tamper switches that respond to removal of the integration module from the stand and removal of the tamper.
