It is equipped with a continuous note generator for calling between intercom extensions.
The device also allows conversations between intercoms during a communication between door station and another tenant. During an indoor or door station communication, the lighting of a red LED on the extensions (if present) signals that the line is busy. While a conversation between intercoms is in progress, the switch ensures complete audio separation (and thus confidentiality) from the door station.
The device allows, in video intercom systems, the use of the intercom intercom extension, subject to the insertion, in mod. C/200, of the EKC/200 capacitor.
