Joint walls must be clean, dry and free of dirt, dust, rust, oil or other contaminants. Non-porous surfaces should be cleaned with solvent. Apply adhesive tape to the edges of the joint. Open the cartridge and cut the nozzle at 45° and to a diameter equal to the width of the joint. Apply sealant along the joint, dispensing evenly. Level with the silicone trowel and, if necessary, finish with a finger wet with soap and water. After application remove the tape and clean the accessories used. Uncured silicone can be removed using a solvent, while hardened silicone can only be removed mechanically. Not suitable on surfaces that exude oils, solvents or plasticizers. Not suitable on natural stone such as marble, granite and quartzite. Do not use on porous surfaces such as concrete, fibrous cement and mortar. Do not use in contact with organic elastomers such as EPDM, APTK and neoprene.
