The CL8 is also ideal for leakage measurements on photovoltaic systems as it allows measurement of DC leakage current. It is equipped with a TRMS multimeter function for AC/DC voltage measurements.
Other measures provided are the measurement of Resistance and Continuity Test. The instrument has a 6000 dots LCD display, display backlight, auto power off function to preserve its internal battery and can clamp a conductor with maximum size 23mm. Other important functions present are the MIN/MAX for detecting the Maximum and Minimum value of the quantities, the Data HOLD function and the ZERO function for performing preliminary zeroing of currents.
