The fire alarm control panel 1043/424 allows the control of two independent zones, with up to 32 devices per zone. Each line is considered as a zone and can be activated or deactivated by a keyboard command. The control unit has two outputs: a general alarm siren output, which is activated when at least one zone is in alarm, and a general fault output, which is activated when a fault condition occurs in the control unit or on a zone. The general alarm siren output can be activated or deactivated via the keypad. Other relay outputs, general alarm and zone alarm, are available on optional relay board. It is possible, independently for each zone, to decide whether to obtain the alarm signal with only one device in alarm (single consent) or with at least two devices in alarm (double consent). Complies with EN54 part 2-4 standards. N° 0051-CPD-0339.

Smoke detectors work on the principle of light scattering caused by smoke particles in the air. The detector has the function of automatic gain control; a microcontroller calculates the compensation of the reading to maintain a constant sensitivity over time, correcting any increase in level caused by the deposit of dust inside the analysis cell. Smoke detectors should be installed in places where there are no air currents that could divert the flow of particles produced by combustion and in places where normal activities do not produce fires of gaseous materials.
