SMART PRESS is an ON/OFF electronic device designed to switch the pump ON/OFF without using an expansion vessel. The device protects the pump against dry running without using level probes or float switch. It has an adjustable cut-in pressure and even with a high flow the pressure losses are small. All the SMART PRESS models have a manual and automatic restart.
The cable is not included.

Smart Press is an electronic device and automatic, meant to regulate the functioning of the electric pumps without the use of tanks, autoclave.
Smart Press performs the following main functions:
1) Controls continuous operation and automatic pump, with flow rate and pressure constant during the withdrawal from one or more points of the distribution network. The start of the pump occurs when the pressure of the system is lower than that fixed (std 1.5 bar). The stop occurs when Smart Press no longer detects it an appreciable outlet flow (see point 2).
2) Keeps the pump running for a short period of time (5" around) after the termination of the withdrawal, the closing of the faucets.
3) In the case of lack of water in suction, it blocks the pump, without using level probes or float switches. The operation is reset by a Reset button the manual. Or it unlocks automatically when it is placed in the discharge pipe to a pressure higher than the set value for starting the electric pump.
A version of the device is identified as a Smart Press WG (where WG is the Water Guardian). In the case of block due to lack of water, this machine makes attempts at automatic reset, equivalent to pressing the manual reset, every 30 Min. ca. It has a flow sensor built-in, designed with a geometry such as to minimize the losses of the load also flows very high.
