The filter element of Cillit Duna filters should be replaced periodically when dirty. Cillit Duna filters can also contain cartridges loaded with ion exchange resins, phosphates, crystals, activated carbon, with wire-wound filter elements, or synthetic weave, etc. For potable water, use only synthetic weave or stainless steel elements with a filter capacity of not less than 50 microns. For cartridges other than those intended for potable water please consult us from time to time, specifying the type of use.
Installation: The installation of the device must be done in accordance with current regulations and must be carried out by a qualified installer. The Cillit Duna is installed on the cold water pipe entering from the waterworks, or upstream of the hydraulic circuit to be protected. For filtration of drinking water intended for human consumption, use only synthetic mesh filter elements, not less than 50 microns. Synthetic mesh filter elements if necessary can be washed and reused several times. Do not use for drinking water the cartridges containing resins, phosphate crystals, activated carbon, etc., follow the regulations in force, if necessary contact us. Observe in detail the specific instructions given in the assembly and service instructions supplied with the unit; if lost, ask us to send you a copy.
Warnings: Protect the filter from frost, direct sunlight. Prevent oils, solvents, alcohol, acidic detergents and other exhaling chemicals, as well as heat sources above 40°C from coming into contact with the appliance. The water pressure in the mains must not exceed the maximum permissible pressure; if necessary, install a pressure reducer. For proper handling and operation, we recommend replacing or washing the filter element as often as necessary. Cillit Duna filters are made entirely of materials that meet the standards and release requirements stipulated for equipment used employed in drinking water circuits. The operating pressure of 10 bar also meets the latest regulations for their use in the sanitary circuits of a home.
