The material used is of the type antigroscopico and high self-extinguishing; on request it can be supplied in a version antacid, particularly indicated in the case of use in contaminated atmospheres, or in the version with base material "halogen free" UL listed V0. The insulator has on both sides support a threaded insert female brass or steel, zinc plated white, using screws of a different type without the head, pair with the parties concerned, while in the central part there is a band octagonal which allows for the fixing.
