The inverter Active Driver is a device command and control for an electric pump, which includes the connections to the hydraulic system, a pressure sensor, a flow sensor and a converter, frequency electronic (inverter). LActive Driver applies on the delivery of each electric pump, adjusts the rotation speed of the electric pump, which is connected, in order to obtain constant pressure to vary the flow rate of water required. The water that flows through the connections of the Active Driver Plus also helps to cool the heat produced by internal electronic components.
TheActive Driver is starting the pump the first water demand. The speed of the pump is adjusted (continuously) to the minimum value that can satisfy the user request. This allows a considerable energy saving. In a group the start of the second and third pump occurs in a cascade, when the first pump reaches the maximum rotation speed. The pressure is user adjustable via two push-buttons + and - posts on the Active Driver (usually all pumps are set at the same pressure value).
The pumps are stopped automatically in the following cases:
- Overcurrent pump
- Dry running
- Supply voltage low
- The exceedance of a maximum value of pressure (adjustable)
- Overheating electronic components Active Driver Plus.
