This is a high-performance magnetic brass defangator that through a helical action separates and removes all impurities such as iron oxide, sludge, deposits of various kinds, sand, etc. from the system water.
The use of the rotary defangator is suitable for all domestic systems and should be installed in the return circuit, at the boiler inlet, to prevent impurities from settling inside the heat exchanger. Our defangator is very versatile thanks to its practical 360° swivel attachment, which also allows for easy installation when there are limitations on the height available for mounting the device.
The product can also be installed on horizontal, vertical or diagonal pipes without compromising performance. Respect the direction of flow indicated by the arrow on the coupling body to ensure smooth operation.
There is a vent valve at the top. To clean the filter, close the two ball valves, pull out the magnet, open the ball valve at the bottom, and drain the collected impurities into a container. If there is a lot of dirt and deposits, it is possible to unscrew the filter body, with special wrench provided, to be able to wash the mesh and the inside of the filter thoroughly. After unscrewing, open the ball valve starting from the one on the filter inlet, vent through the manual air vent valve at the top, then open the ball valve in the direction of the boiler.
