The ECO 1000 family has been designed and certified according to the latest European standard EN54 (parts 5 and 7).
The series can count on many features that, until now, were found only on more sophisticated and therefore more expensive analog addressable detectors. For the first time, these features can be found in a conventional detector family, improving protection levels and reducing false alarm rates where the performance of addressable analog systems is not required.
The ECO 1000 series enjoys performance optimization and a state-of-the-art analysis chamber design, specifically designed to reduce the settling effect of dust and thus limit the need for maintenance.
The ECO 1005 A detector uses a thermal element combined with a specially designed ASIC integrated circuit that provides detection of those thermal phenomena that are related to the presence of fire. This detector is particularly suitable for protecting environments within which there are those materials that, in the event of fire, do not emit smoke and escape optical detectors. Inside the chamber of the ECO 1005 detector there are two sensors: thermovelocimetric and maximum temperature, the first detects the rate of temperature change (the alarm threshold is set in degrees per minute) and the second indicates the temperature instant by instant (the alarm threshold is set in degrees). The detector is not suitable for all locations where environmental conditions may normally be subject to rapid temperature changes.
