The new conventional control panel is a modular type, capable of handling from a minimum of 4 (basic configuration) to a maximum of 20 lines (via optional 1043/429 modules) on which up to 512 devices can be connected. Each line is equivalent to one zone and up to 32 points or conventional type devices can be connected to it. Each zone is associated with a relay that is activated when the zone goes into alarm condition.
The control unit also has the following outputs and relays: an alarm output, a siren output, a fault output, an output that can be programmed to activate in the face of power failure or exclusions, and a supervised siren output. It is also possible to take advantage of four additional supervised siren outputs, available on optional module 1043/431; each of these outputs can be associated independently of the others with one or more zones.
The control unit is equipped with a 4X40 alphanumeric display and a 12-button keypad. It is possible to connect a PS2 keyboard to facilitate user input during the programming phase. The control unit has a history clock capable of storing up to 1,000 events.
In addition, there is a clock with a back-up battery for maintaining date and time even when the control panel is not powered. Complies with EN54 part 2 and part 4 standards. Certification number: 0051-CPD-0381.
