The FS18OR18 cables belong to the AFIAM line and are marked Cca-s3,d1,a3, to indicate that they comply with the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) in accordance with the requirements prescribed in the Standard EN 50575:2014+A1:2016 and to indicate that they are of the non-fire propagating type in accordance with the self-extinguishing requirements prescribed in the Standard CEI EN 50399 in whose tests are also measured heat emission, smoke production and possible dripping during the flame development test.
FS18OR18 cables are also flame retardant on the single vertical cable as per EN and IEC 60332-1-2 (CEI 20-35) tests. In addition, to prevent further risks arising from substances emitted during the combustion of plastic materials, the FS18OR18 cables are made with special compounds with reduced emission of halogens, with a quantity of hydrochloric acid, contained in the fumes emitted in case of combustion, less than 18%.
FS18OR18 cables belong to the ecological line called ECOGAMMA marked by the symbol of the Windmill. In these ecological cables, lead has been eliminated, a heavy metal, dangerous for the environment and for man if present in excessive quantities.
